2-6 May - Pizza Week
Thirteen pizzerias from the province of Barcelona took part in the recently created Pizza Week (2-6 May). A week which served to showcase the quality and diversity of projects revolving around this dish.
Proposals that not only focused on the preparation and ingredients of the pizza but also brought together the entire gastronomic community: leading chefs such as Paolo Casagrande (Lasarte) and Rafa Peña (Gresca), mixologists such as Giacomo Giannotti (Paradiso), and even pastry chefs from Barcelona such as Christian Escribà and Saray Ruiz.
The pizzerias that participated in the Pizza Week in Barcelona, each with a unique proposal, were Antica Pizzeria da Michele, Arte Pizza Focacceria Bistró, Can Pizza, Da Nanni, Frankie Gallo Cha Cha Cha, Garden Pizza (Sant Cugat), Grosso Napoletano, La Balmesina, Maximmus Pizzeria Napoletana, NAP, Parking Pizza, Pizzeria Napoletana A33, Sartoria Panatieri, and Standard Pizza.
